Job Description
- Review work orders to determine the type of welding work that needs to be performed.
- Position welding machines and tools at the right place and set them up for procedures including trimming, sizing, and forming.
- Draw review and compliance for final proportions.
- Set up components in accordance with set specifications.
- Examine the quality of materials before approving them for welding purposes.
- Set up parts by using the right welding tools and equipment.
- Clean equipment/tools in order to maintain a clean working area.
- Make sure that welding work remains in compliance with customers’ drawings and specifications.
- Monitor the end result of welding projects in order to make sure that quality has been maintained.
Requirements
- Attention to detail.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
Qualifications
- AWS welding certificate.
