Job Description
- Communicate with clients and shippers and resolve any issues.
- Develop shipping quotes for customers.
- Present sales reports for senior management.
- Maintain a meticulous record of shipment information.
- Notify supervisor when equipment/system malfunctions occur if any.
- Assist with the carrier claims process.
- Analyze carrier billing and charges and provide recommendations on areas to reduce costs.
- Prepare status updates and track information with departments.
- Assist with various projects within the shipping departments.
- Monitor day to day shipping tasks in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Time management skills.
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or a related field.
