Job Description
- Research potential vendors and evaluate offers from suppliers.
- Track orders and make sure timely delivery.
- Check the quality of purchased products.
- Enter order details such as quantities, prices into the databases.
- Keep an updated record of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Prepare and submit reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
- Oversee stock levels and place orders as required.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to make sure proper storage.
- Monitor and supervise employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
- Develop plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Establish the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Experience with purchasing software.
- Negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
