Job Description
- Examine/study the blueprints for mechanical systems to establish the specifications of the components to be constructed.
- Construct structural components.
- Utilize welding equipment to fuse structural components.
- Check fabricated components to make sure that they are the correct size.
- Prepare a suitable maintenance schedule and perform system maintenance.
- Carry out diagnostic testing on malfunctioning systems to determine the root cause of the malfunction.
- Replace damaged or defective components as required.
- Follow all work-site safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
